An adventure awaits you in China!

Home to the Great Wall, the 2008 Summer Olympics, and a sixth of the world’s population, China is one of the most exciting and strategic places to be a missionary.
While China has grown in leaps and bounds industrially, intellectually, and economically, it’s still a politically closed nation. Depending on where you are on your trip, you may meet Buddhists, Muslims, and Taoists—but very few Christians. However, the underground church is extensive and continues growing (even thriving!) amidst persecution.
You can encourage the long term missionaries working here and share the love of Jesus in a country where His name is not known.
Ministry:
While in China, ministry opportunities include:
- Orphanage Ministry: You could help start an orphanage for children needing a safe and secure home.
- Sustainable Farming: You might have the opportunity to help on a sustainable farm, literally contributing to developing and feeding a local community.
- Teaching: You could volunteer in local schools or teach English to older students.
- Anti-Trafficking Ministry: Whether you go into Red Light areas or volunteering with an aftercare ministry, you could have the opportunity to share the beautiful truth of their worth and the love of Jesus with those caught in sexual exploitation.
- Relational Evangelism and Community Outreach: Especially in countries where God’s name isn’t known, the most powerful way to share His love is through relationships. As you’re walking down the Great Wall, drinking tea, or talking with a taxi driver, everywhere you go and everything you say is an opportunity to share the Gospel.
Will you join the work God is doing in China and share His love with people who do not know Him?
