Located in the heart of the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix also an extremely high homeless population. In fact, 1 out of every 184 people in Arizona are homeless. 37% are families, and 71% of all homeless live in Phoenix, including at-risk teens and children.

Ministry:
While in Phoenix, you will partner with a ministry focused on outreach to local homeless communities, at-risk teens, and low income families. Ministry opportunities could include:
- Homeless Ministry: From food distribution to outreach in low income communities, you could encourage and help people struggling for hope for the future.
- Kids Ministry: Whether it’s VBS or an impromptu basketball game, you could share the love of Jesus in a child’s favorite language: fun.
- Community Development: You might help with a community enrichment opportunity, practically being the hands and feet of Jesus through painting, cleaning, or minor work projects.
