Through various short and long-term programs, Adventures In Missions helps people from all walks of life discover the world, who Jesus is, and what Jesus has called them to: making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and being his witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).
Imagine experiencing firsthand how to listen to the voice of God, serve others in high-need ministry contexts, and make a real, tangible difference in the lives of others.
If you want to join a Christ-centered community committed to doing what the first generation of disciples did, then it’s time for you to join us in…
Although it is the poorest country economically in South America, Bolivia is rich in beauty and culture. Positioned in between the between Andes Mountains and the lush Amazon rain forest, Bolivia is diverse in landscape, culture and people. However, the true wealth of Bolivia is its people. Bolivia is the most indigenous country in South America, with over 60% of the population tracing their heritage back to one of over 30 different ethnic groups. Ancient traditions and customs continue to heavily influence the local culture, but there is also a heavy Roman Catholic influence. Recently, the Bolivian government proposed policies that would have prohibited openly sharing the Gospel. Thankfully, this legislation was not passed, but there is still a great need for Gospel revival in Bolivia.
You’ll be working alongside Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ), which is a discipleship ministry focused on college students, working to win, build and send Christ-centered multiplying disciples. Your team will be partnering with the local campus ministries, pastors and church-planters in Santa Cruz and beyond. First, your team will get training on Cru’s relational evangelism tools like their Jesus Film app. Then you’ll spend a week using these tools to practice relational evangelism on college campuses, in the city, and in the jungle. You’ll have the chance to have spiritual conversations with college students and indigenous peoples, learn how to share your faith organically and intentionally, and see the Gospel proclaimed to the people of Bolivia.

God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth. Will you join Him in Bolivia?
Evangelical Christians are growing in number and in influence, but face many challenges. Low literacy levels, lack of biblical knowledge and limited discipleship opportunities give rise to theological error and moral failure. There is a great need to raise the standard of discipleship. The Association of Evangelicals (ANDEB), a major fellowship link for churches, is committed to widespread prayer and unity. Pray for these to be achieved and for believers to increase both in quantity and quality.
