An adventure awaits you in Cambodia!
Cambodia boasts one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the temple Angkor Wat.
Hidden for centuries under dense jungle, today Angkor Wat is one of most photographed places in the world.
Despite its popularity as a tourist destination, Cambodia itself is struggling to heal from one of the worst genocides in modern history.
In the 1970s, the Khmer Rouge killed over 1.5 million men, women, and children. Faced with inconceivable poverty and desperation, Cambodia became a source, transit point, and destination for human trafficking.
The people of Cambodia are hungry for hope and healing. Will you share it with them?
Ministry:
- Learn and Encourage: Meet NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) and ministries on the front lines of anti-trafficking in Phnom Penh. You will learn firsthand what is going on and encourage those dedicated to ending modern day slavery in Cambodia.
- Intercession: As you walk the streets, stroll the riverfront, or tour the local temples, you will intercede for this nation and for its most priceless treasure—the children.
- Relational Ministry: You will have opportunities to meet young women and men who were trafficked and now are in Aftercare, serving in restaurants, nail salons, and other businesses. You’ll share the love of Christ in every conversation and interaction.
This trip is for you if:
- You have a passion for anti-trafficking
- You believe in the power of prayer and intercession
- You have a heart for free trade and business as mission
- You love sharing your faith in tourist areas and exploring historic places
- You want to grow in your faith as you share God’s love with others
Will you go share the light, hope, and love of Jesus in a hurting country?
