Gainesville is a city located about an hour north of Atlanta on the banks Lake Lanier. Called the “Poultry Capital of the World”, the high-profile presence of the poultry industry in Gainesville has been the primary factor in driving the city’s startling growth. Over the past decade, the official population of the city has nearly doubled, with more than half of it made up of immigrant Hispanic workers.

Ministry
Church Planting and Community Outreach:
Your team will partner with a local church dedicated to reaching out to the city of Gainesville. On your trip, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with local residents, especially in large Hispanic community.
You will reach out to the homeless and other local communities with the real and relevant message of what it means to have hope in Christ. This could mean prayer walks and/or door-to-door evangelism.
