You want to live a life that matters. You want to feel significant, empowered, and for your life to count for something. You read about the way the followers of Jesus lived in the first century, and you long for that kind of life — where living out your faith means hearing the voice of God and changing people’s lives.
You want to go to the next level with God. You want a changed life.
Adventures in Missions has taken more than 115,000 people on mission trips around the world. Through various short and long-term programs, Adventures In Missions helps people from all walks of life discover the world, who Jesus is, and what Jesus has called them to: making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and being his witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).
Imagine experiencing firsthand how to listen to the voice of God, serve others in high-need ministry contexts, and make a real, tangible difference in the lives of others.
If you want to join a Christ-centered community committed to doing what the first generation of disciples did, then it’s time for you to join us in…
There are many of us who sat and watched on TV as Houston went under and most everyone ask themselves the question, “who will help those people?”. As we head into the holidays, the need is still very real. There are thousands of families in Houston that will not spend the holidays in their homes, and many more who won’t get back to their normal lives for years without your help.
Maybe you’ve wanted to help but feel as though you are no longer needed. That’s not true. Houston still needs you.
We have been in the Houston area for the last 10 weeks and we’re making significant strides in helping the people of Houston recover and rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
Our ministry host is now supplying our work projects with materials and contractor support.
We’ve sought out volunteers; we’ve found the elderly, the widows, the veterans, the disabled, and the forgotten. Still, there are thousands of families in Houston that will not get back into their homes unless someone helps them build.
We intend to be the people that show up and live out the gospel as we help those who can’t help themselves.
Join us in making a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters affected by the flood. Come be a light to those who have lost hope.
We need your hands — especially if you have basic construction skills.
We need your heart — pouring out the love of Christ.
We will continue to clean up the homes of the forgotten but we’ll also be rebuilding for those who have had their houses cleaned out already.
God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth.
Will you join Him in Houston?
If you can’t be physically present on the scene, there are other ways to help. Prayerfully consider giving to our Disaster Response Fund. Your gift will help restore a family who has lost everything, we are utilizing your donations now to purchase building supplies, furniture and appliances. Know that your generosity will have direct impact on a family’s full recovery and future wellbeing.
“When I considered going to Houston to help, I thought ‘I’m too late.’ But that’s a lie! This relief work will take weeks, months, … years.”
