Adventures in Missions has taken more than 115,000 people on mission trips around the world. Through various short and long-term programs, Adventures helps people from all walks of life discover the world, who Jesus is, and what He has called them to: making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and being His witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).
You want to do something that matters. You want to feel empowered and to make an impact on the world around you. You read about the way the followers of Jesus lived in the first century, and something in you is longing to do more – to live out your faith, hear the voice of God, and display His love to those who need it.
You want to go deeper in your relationship with God. You want to see lives changed.
Imagine experiencing firsthand how to listen to the voice of God, serve others in high-need ministry contexts, and make a real difference in the lives of others.
If you want to join a Christ-centered community committed to doing what the first generation of disciples did, then it’s time for you to join us in…
Nepal is an adventurer’s paradise. The small mountainous country is one of the most breathtaking places on earth, from its tropical forests to the towering heights of Mount Everest. Nepal is primarily Hindu and Buddhist, but Christianity is on the rise—especially after the April 2015 earthquake. The hope of Christ is on the move. Churches are growing, and entire families are turning to Him. Will you be part of what God is doing there?
Ministry
While in Nepal, you will partner with TAMI (The Agape Mission International). TAMI works with at risk children, at risk women, and leadership/management development amongst those in South Asia and around the World since 1998. TAMI Nepal has an emphasis on educating at risk children, empowering at risk women, and equipping and mentoring grassroots leaders.
Anti-Trafficking Ministry: Working with at-risk women and children, helping them find restoration and healing. In addition, there might be an opportunity to serve in a beauty salon where rescued women work.
Village Ministry: You and your team might have the opportunity to partner with local churches through evangelism, or even to hike to unreached villages where there are no roads and the nearest church is two hours away by foot.
Sports Ministry: Play a pick up game with street kids or spend time in schools and children’s homes, using sports, play, and art to show each child that they matter.
School Ministry: You might be able to teach English in local schools.
Lodging
You’ll stay in a 4 story home with western toilets and showers on every floor. You’ll have electricity, wifi, and clean water.
God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth. Will you join Him in Nepal?
Freedom of religion is guaranteed by law, but only in limited measures. Non-Hindus cannot proselytize. If they do, they risk fines, imprisonment and, in the case of expatriates, expulsion. Despite this law, the Church in Nepal grows because of courageous evangelism. Hindu fundamentalist, as well as Maoists, often single out Christians; their non-violent nature and connections to the West make them soft targets. Pray for perseverance for believers, that neither laws of man nor threats of violence deter them from sharing the gospel.
