Customize your mission trip
We work with you to understand your objectives and put together an experience that is specifically designed for your group. Our team takes care of logistics, ministry planning, debriefs, devotionals, and provides extra project leaders so you can focus on discipleship and showing your youth how to follow the voice of God and live for Him.
What will we be doing?
While in Appalachia, you will have the incredible opportunity to partner with ministries in the local community. Your time could be spent working with a couple of the following ministries:
Adult day center: where the elderly who either live with their children or who live on their own can find community during the day. Teams will spend time building relationship with the people who come by playing games, singing songs, doing crafts. You’ll have the chance to get creative!
Elderly home: Get creative and plan a really special time for the elderly residents. They will feel the love and care of Jesus through your intentional time with them.
Versatile ministry: Your team will be sorting through donations, handing out groceries, and serving hot food. This is a relational ministry and you will be able to spend time talking to people coming in throughout the day.
Light construction: You will help with small construction projects around the building. This could include peeling wallpaper off the walls, ripping up carpet and tile, painting, etc.
A local church will be your host, and you will have an opportunity to serve them by helping around the camp where you will be staying.
Where will we stay?
You’ll stay in a cabin in Duffield, Virginia with 40 beds, toilets and showers and separate bathrooms for men and women. There will be a full kitchen where you’ll prepare your meals. There’s no electricity in the cabin, but the church has electricity and wifi.
