Your team will partner with a ministry deeply invested in growing and improving their city.

Youth/Children’s Ministry: Teams will help with the youth program play a variety of games in the gym (basketball, jump rope, 4 square and whatever other creative games your group brings). Teams will lead a few songs after everyone has arrived. After songs, students are divided into groups based on age and are led by the volunteer groups through 3 stations (story, games, craft and snack). The stations are approximately 15 minutes each. After the station rotation is complete, you will gather back together as a large group for a calm closing song and ending prayer.

Work Projects: Mornings will consist of light construction projects such as painting, clearing brush, or helping around the Detroit Love building.

Community Outreach: As you live and serve in this community, you’ll take part in reaching the people with the love of Christ, whether that’s in conversations, prayer walks, or organized events.
Where will we stay?
Your team will be housed in a community center with bunk beds, bathrooms, showers, kitchen, and wifi.
