Located in Southeast Asia, tropical Thailand is bordered by Burma, Laos and Cambodia. This kingdom is home to 64 million people who primarily speak Thai and where most believe in Theravada Buddhism. Thailand is one of the world’s most popular travel destinations and unfortunately, many of its tourist attractions include prostitution of men, women, and children.
This team will be venturing outside of the tourist locations to rural Thailand. You’ll work alongside YWAM Thailand, who works mostly with church planting and local missionaries throughout the country.
You can expect to hang out at local hot spots, building friendships with local Thai people and evangelize by holding open-air services & visiting homes. You may have a chance to work with orphans or do service projects, but expect a lot of outward evangelism. You’ll get the opportunity to support and serve this incredible ministry and its partners with all that God has already started there.
