AMB 2019 – Nepal

Adventures in Missions has taken more than 115,000 people on mission trips around the world. Through our short and long-term programs, we help and train people from all walks of life to discover the world, who Jesus is, and what Jesus has called them to: to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and be his witness to the ends of the earth (Acts 1).

You want to live a life that matters. You want to feel significant and empowered. You read about the followers of Jesus, and long for that kind of mission — where living out your faith means hearing the voice of God and changing lives.

You want to go to the next level with God. You want a community centered on Christ.

Experience firsthand the voice of God, serve others in high-need ministries, and make a real, tangible difference in the lives of others.

If you want to join a Christ-centered community committed to doing what the first generation of disciples did: sharing the Gospel, feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and hearing the voice of God… then it’s time for you to join us in…

Nepal is home to the world’s tallest mountain, Everest, and is an adventurer’s paradise. It’s also a land searching for hope and restoration. Though primarily Hindu and Buddhist, Christianity is on the rise—especially after the 2015 earthquake. Now is the time for a revival as the people of Nepal continue to seek and accept the good news of Jesus Christ!

Will you be the hands and feet of Jesus in Nepal?

Ministry

While in Nepal, you will partner with TAMI Asia (The Agape Mission International).

TAMI Asia and TAMI World work with at risk children and women, and provides leadership/management development for those in the organized church across South Asia. They have been doing this work since 1998. TAMI Asia has an emphasis on educating at risk children, empowering women, and equipping and mentoring future leaders.

Some of your primary ministry opportunities include:

  • Evangelism

  • Teaching English

  • Children’s Ministries

  • Relationship building in the slums

  • Sports Ministry

  • Prayer

Nepal is 4,000+ feet above sea level, so keep in mind normal physical activity can feel more strenuous and challenging. Be prepared to adjust to high heat, humidity, and elevation during this incredible adventure into Nepal.

This summer, live an adventure in a land searching for hope.

God is calling you to journey with Him, to share His love with the nations and establish His Kingdom on earth. Will you join Him in Nepal?

Pray for Nepal

Freedom of religion is guaranteed by law, but only in limited measures. Non-Hindus cannot proselytize (convert). The risk could be fines, imprisonment and, in the case of expatriates, expulsion. Despite this law, the Church in Nepal is flourishing because of courageous evangelism. Pray for perseverance for believers, that neither laws of man nor threats of violence deter them from sharing the gospel.
