Outside of the tourist destinations, however, are large pockets of poverty and family brokenness throughout the nation.
The people of Costa Rica need to remember the unchanging love of Jesus—and that it is still real and relevant to their lives.
Ministry:
You will partner with an organization in the capital, San Jose, which focuses on raising up a generation of students and young adults for Christ.
- Children’s Ministry: Whether it’s VBS or sports, you’ll share the love of Christ in a child’s favorite language: fun.
- Evangelism: From Bible distribution to random conversations with both tourists and locals, you’ll be able to share the Gospel with everyone you meet.
- Outreach: You might be able to work with indigenous people who don’t know Jesus.
- Work Projects: You might be able to serve through physically helping build, restore, or clean.
- Adventure: You will live your faith while exploring the wonders of Costa Rica—possibly going to the beach, zip lining in the rainforest, or shopping in local markets.
