An adventure awaits you in Ethiopia!

One of the oldest cultures on earth, Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee.
Literature and archaeological finds date back to Bible times—including the servant from Ethiopia mentioned in the book of Acts.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church even claims to being the modern day home of the Ark of the Covenant.
But despite its rich beauty, culture, and history, Ethiopia is a land of deep heartbreak.
What you will do in Ethiopia:
You will stay in a town where many children have lost at least one parent (and many have lost both) due to HIV and tuberculosis, and remind these children that they are known and loved by God.
- Ministry: You’ll spend a lot of time with kids in a children’s village, playing and laughing with children. You’ll play sports and could teach English or VBS, as you get to know them and their stories. There also will be opportunities for things like painting, gardening, and other community development projects.
- Adventure: You’ll share God’s love as you explore the wonders of Ethiopia, whether that is a day at Green Crater Lake, hanging out Addis Ababa (a city dating back to ancient times), or shopping in local markets.
- Culture: You will fall in love with Ethiopia and its warm culture. They will welcome you with open arms, and you will definitely attend at least one coffee ceremony!
This trip is for you if:
- You love coffee and coffee culture.
- You love history and exploring historical places in real life.
- Your heart breaks for orphans and widows.
- You love playing with kids.
- You want to grow in your faith while sharing God’s love with others.
This summer, be the hands and feet of Christ in one of the most ancient civilizations of the world.
