PP Fall 2016: Ecuador

An adventure awaits you in Ecuador!             Just four hours outside Quito (the bustling capital city of Ecuador) is a place beyond the Andes highlands, where the indigenous people of the Amazon jungle live and work in a place mostly unknown to other parts of the world. This is the region where almost 40 years ago, a group of missionaries, including Jim Elliot, gave their lives in pursuit of reaching the people of “region Amazonas” with the good news of Jesus Christ. Because of the love that caused these people to give their lives, many in that...

PP Fall 2016: Nicaragua

Nicaragua has been called the land of lakes and volcanoes. Thick rainforests, rugged highlands, long beaches, and fertile hills define the country’s beautiful landscape. When debts are called in, the young girls are sent to Bangkok or other...

AI 2016: Zuni – Dusty Pines Work Camp – Gallup, NM

Dusty Pines Camp, out in the forest between Gallup and the Zuni Nation, provides a safe and loving haven for a group of local, Native youth who have chosen to follow Jesus – in spite of the verbal and sometimes physical persecution they know awaits them from family, former friends, and the community in general. But, with the support of Christian teachers, mentors, and each other, they are able to persevere and grow in their faith. One day, they will be leaders in their community. Ministry: The camp provides a refuge for the hundreds of Native campers who flock here each summer, and it...
