Guatemala is known for their beauty and diversity. Situated in the northern region of Central America, tourists flock to Guatemala from all over the world for the volcanos, coffee, and vast rainforest. But, Guatemala is also home to neighborhoods within the garbage dumps, abandoned children running the streets, and overflowing prisons. The people of Guatemala are accustomed to tragedy as they often are at the mercy of mudslides and natural disasters.
We are called to bring the unchanging, never-ending love of Jesus to Guatemala.
Ministry
- You may play with children and host VBS. Teaching English is always a need!
- You may do sports outreach, door-to-door outreach, or help with work projects.
- You may host a Bible study for policemen, and spend time at the local orphanage.

For over twenty years, Adventures has been sending short-term teams to serve the church in Guatemala. Now, we’re taking the next step with our investment through a Adventures in Missions Base. Adventures Guatemala comes alongside pastors and church leaders through discipleship, community development, and activation to establish God’s Kingdom. We desire to see the men, women, and children of Guatemala reconciled to the love of God the Father, living out their God-given purposes.
